So I had a blown radiator and a Pep Boys here quoted me for $1700 from the manager Marshall. I came into the store and talked them down to $1300 and then about two hours later Marshall calls me and says oh I have a thermostat that’s messed up in my radiator as well Then he brings the price back up to $1700. We argue a bit on the phone, then he calls me back about an hour later and let me know that it was just a false reading. I had an air bubble in my radiator and that there’s no charge so it comes back down to $1300. He promises to give me a 10% discount for the hassle. Beware of this place. They will leave parts off your car and never put them back on . The first time I came is the plastic under car was hanging. Then I brought it back and they just took it off. They told me it's cracked . So I asked I wanted it back and it does not have any cracks . I got my car repaired and still they did not put it back on so I had to come back so they can install it back on. . They don't care for people property. Also my driver's seat was full of oil finger prints grease all over my seat. The mechanics do what they feel like at this place. Poor quality service.

Came in with an appointment to get four tires that I selected online on a Saturday. I picked Kumho Ecsta 4X’s which are well rated for price and performance and came with a bonus of free installation. Check in was fast and pleasant and I was explained options on any potential add ons which I went for the 30 day alignment. I was told I could pick it up by the end of the day but ended up by text notification being 2 hours earlier than that. Moment of truth was how do the tires feel on the road and they are stunningly good on road imperfections, cornering, and the vehicle tracks beautifully. WOW, WOW, WOW!! The absolute best in quality expert auto repairs and caring customer service AND at a price that beats all others l have ever used. My Honda CRV was towed to Pep Boys San Leandro having stalled with a very bad oil leak, dead battery and other issues they found. I was kept informed of repairs progress and delighted when completed on time. My beloved Honda CRV now runs like a new car, no kidding! The cost with excellent discounts was fantastic!!
